I think just about everyone has done one thing or another that he or she isn't proud of. I know I have. And in an effort to come to peace with the things I've done, I decided to put some of them in writing. Somehow just seeing my "dirty deeds" in print is cleansing to my soul. So, here goes....
1. I cheated on an exam in college.
2. I have farted and blamed it on someone else.
3. I have watched an entire episode of "The Simple Life."
4. I've called in sick to work when I really wasn't.
5. I've received the wrong change (in my favor) at Wal-Mart but didn't mention it to the cashier.
6. I've eaten grapes at the store without paying for them.
7. I've made up excuses to get off the phone just because I didn't want to talk to that person any more.
8. I've opened Christmas presents early, then carefully wrapped them back up so no one would know.
9. I've driven a car when I'd consumed WAY too much alcohol.
10. I've lied to my husband about money.
OK, that's enough for now. There are other things on my list of "dirty deeds," but I can only be so honest in one sitting.
