Decisions, decisions, decisions. My parents called last night and told me they're booking a family vacation. To where you might ask? Well, we have 2 choices. A week-long cruise to Alaska or a week-long cruise to Hawaii. Holy crap. How does one choose? I want to do BOTH of these trips!!
Hubby and the boys want to go to Alaska. My sister and one of her boys wants Hawaii. Her husband wants Alaska. Their other 2 boys couldn't decide.
My parents have done the Alaska cruise twice, and each time they came back they simply raved about how fun it was and how much they wanted to take all of us there one day. This may be our last chance to see some beautiful, untouched, natural scenery before George Dubya starts dillin' for oil.
However, the waterfalls, volcanoes and gorgeous beaches of Hawaii sound pretty damned enticing, too.
And let us not forget about the fun we'll all have on the boat itself, whether it's passing beautiful glaciers or grass skirts and coconut bras. One of the ships I checked out had 12...count'em....12 bars. How much better can it get?
They're booking the trip this week. Ooooh, what to choose, what to choose, what to choose????
